Annual Camp

The parent organisation of the ATC is the Royal Air Force. Every year RAF bases open up their facilities for cadets to visit for a week at a time. This is known as Annual camp.

You will visit an RAF station with other members of your Squadron and Wing. Activities during the week include flying, shooting, visits to RAF sections, sports, drill and the end of camp disco. You live in RAF accommodation and eat in the airman’s mess. This is a good chance to find out what service life and working for the RAF would be like.

Overseas Camps

Those cadets lucky enough to be selected may attend annual camps overseas. Current locations that you can go to are Germany, Gibraltar and Cyprus.
