Wing Activities Day 22 Sep 2013, RAF Boscombe Down
The Squadron will be taking part in Wing Actvities Day on Sunday 22 Sep 13, at RAF Boscombe Down.
Joining Instructions
Transport
Cadets are to be at the Squadron HQ by 0650 for a 0700 departure. We will be travelling on A Wilts and Dorset Bus with cadets from 149 (Poole) Squadron. Please ensure you are on time as the bus will not wait.
The event finishes at about 1730 so it is likely that we will return to the Squadron HQ between 1900 and 2000,
Uniform
Uniform for the day is smart No3 (CS 95 combat clothing). Please ensure that these are smart and presentable and that your boots have been polished. All cadets attending MUST have a beret, we are aware that we have a shortage at the moment so please arrange to borrow a beret of someone who is not going on Friday, if you do not have one.
Cadets taking part in the drill competition should bring their No1 uniform (light blue shirt and tie) as well as a Jumper and ATC anorak.
In addition cadets should pack a pair of trainers to take part in the sports or climbing wall. Sports kit is NOT required,
Forms and ID
All cadets must be in possession of their 3822 with a photo in it. In addition all cadets should complete a TG21 form (and TG23 as necessary). These are to be handed to Sgt Roberton (Team Manager prior to getting on the bus).
Messing
Messing facilities will not be available so you must bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day.
Activities
You will have already been placed in various activities by the NCOs helping run the team. More information can be obtained from the Team Leader Sgt Roberton or his deputies Cpl Payne and Cpl Dullage.
The aim of the day is to take part in the activities and have, whilst hopefully scoring some points for the Squadron.
