JTYAF are looking for volunteers to help with the car parking at this years dog show at Parley Cross on the 24th (Saturday) September.
Timing will be from 09:00 – 13:00

The JTYAF will be holding a ‘Fit Camp’ on Friday the 14 Aug 15 at 1815 on King George V playing fields. The cost to enter is £3.00, which goes to the JTYAF.
Any cadets wishing to take part will do so on an individual basis as this activity will NOT be covered under the ATC Insurance Scheme.

Cadets and Staff from Ferndown Squadron assisted the JTYAF at its annual Dog Show. Sgt Calum Roberton entered both his dogs Odin and Freyja into the Gun Dog class and Odin (pictured below) gained a Second Place.
The cadets thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we received very good feedback on how helpful and polite they were from both the JTYAF and the people attending the Dog Show.

The JTTAF have aked the Squadron to help out at a dog show. Thiose of you that were with the Squadron last year will remember that this mainly involved assisting with car parking. We will be taking names in the event boook in the usual way.

149 (Poole) Squadron will be holding a sponsored walk on Saturday 07 Sep 13, in the Purbeck area. They have invited us to join them. As the walk is to raise funds for their Squadron, we have proposed that cadets taking part from 2358 will raise money for the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF). We will be putting a notice up in room 3/4 so you can add your name if you wish to take part in the walk.
