Cadets from 2358 (Ferndown) Squadron paraded along with those from the Army and Sea Cadets on Friday 06 Jun 14 at a Drumhead Service to remember those servicemen that took part in the D-Day landings of 1944.
The Squadron paraded 30 cadets and 3 staff. Cpl Conner was the bearer for the Squadron Banner as part of the Royal British Legion Banner party.
Cadets Golding and O’Hare took part in the forming of the drumhead along with cadets from the other Services. This involved slow-marching a drum across the parade ground and placing it with others to form the drumhead.
The cadets were well turned out and the OC received compliments from the public and the Royal British Legion on the cadets turnout and conduct.
