Boot Camp has been moved to 25th-26th October
Boot Camp on the weekend of 25th-26th October.
This will primarily be aimed at the younger cadets to learn a lot of the basic skills and gain a good insight into life in the ACO. It will also be an opportunity for the more senior cadets to gain valuable skills in leadership and training, as well as helping the staff in the running of the event.
This will be held at the Squadron HQ and should cover the following subject areas (subject to change and staff availability):
Fieldcraft Training
Drill
Command Tasks
Physical Training
Sports
Flight Sim Training
Fieldcraft Exercise
First Aid Training
Blues Lessons
Uniform Upkeep
Sqn Discipline/Structure

171 Christchurch Squadron have very kindly offered to provide transport for Sundays activity.
Pickup is at Ferndown Squadron HQ at 0730 hours, please make sure you are there 15 minutes before departure.
All cadets attending MUST have a form TG21 and TG23, if you fail to bring these forms you will not be allowed to take part in the trials. Also anyone with inhalers etc, should bring them with them.
Those playing football MUST have boots/trainers AND shin pads
Those playing rugby MUST have gum shields
You will receive a more detailed briefing from Sgt Bones on Friday.

UKCC BCU L1 (Paddle Sports Coach LvL 1)
With the London South East Region now having a fleet of canoes and Kayaks for us all to use, Sussex wing are teaming up with Outdoor Adventure Warehouse to offer a UKCC BCU L1 course over 2 weekends. Please see attached poster for full details. There are a maximum of 12 places.
