Those cadets that are newly promoted are reminded of the requirement to attend a Wing Level course. The next JNCO/SNCO Courses will run at Boscombe Down on 12 Oct 14. NCOs that are able to attend are to notify OIC.

Wing HQ are now taking bids from Squadron for Autumn Camp at RAF Halton 25 October to 01 November 2014. At this stage they are just looking for numbers of cadets rather than individual names.
If you wish to attend the camp (this is a male and female camp) please let OIC know this Friday and I will put a bid in for some places. The next stage is for Wing HQ to allocate places to Squadrons across the Wing and then, if we are allocated places, to select cadets from those who have put their names down to attend.

I have been ‘nominated for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (http://www.alsa.org/fight-als/ice-bucket-challenge.html) and just to make it more of a challenge, I’m giving the cadets and staff the chance to throw ice water at me.
The deal is simple, bring a £5 donation and a bucket this Friday for the pleasure!
