The Squadron will be holding an Open Evening/Intake on Monday 03 Oct 16.  Prospective cadets are invited to attend with/without their parents or guardians.

You will be able to find out more about the Air Training Corps, take part in some of the activities and meet the staff and cadets of the Squadron.

You should aim to arrive by 7.30 pm and we will aim to finish between 9.00 – 9.15 pm.

Please note that to join the Squadron you must be aged 12 years and in Year 8 of school.  However we are happy to accommodate younger people on the evening so they can the see the Squadron on the understanding that they will have to wait until they meet the correct age/school year before they can join.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Cadets that attended and supported this years Wing Activities Day, we put in a great effort, and I was really pleased with the performances of our Cadets on the day. It was great to see you coming together as a team after all the hard work you have put in as a Squadron.

This year we placed joint 17th out of the 26 Squadrons that entered

I was very impressed with the high standard of Drill, which is a testament to hours and hours on the Drill Square…well done as we placed 7th overall in Drill! also there were good performances in the First Aid & Initiative Tasks.

I’m already looking forward to next years event, let’s see if we can go one better.
